Meet Our Pastor
Bishop Daniel Cook is the Senior Pastor at The Sanctuary of Wilmington, a thriving, high-energy, multi-cultural, Spirit-filled church.
Born into a legacy of faith, Bishop Cook was nurtured under the spiritual tutelage of his father, Bishop Johnny Cook. This upbringing instilled in him the values of humility, service, and devotion to God's work, which have shaped his pastoral journey. After being entrusted with the sacred responsibility of carrying on his father's ministry, Bishop Daniel Cook has faithfully served the Sanctuary of Wilmington for 18 years and counting. His dedication to making a lasting Kingdom impact in the lives of our members is unwavering.
He was ordained as a bishop under the mentorship of Apostle Rod Parsley of Harvest Church, a testament to his unwavering commitment to spiritual growth and leadership excellence.
Beyond the church walls, Bishop Daniel Cook champions numerous initiatives aimed at fostering meaningful connections between our church and the local neighborhoods. Through flagship events like the annual Harvest Festival, SOW Cares, and SOW Got Sole, he has woven a tapestry of compassion, bringing the love of Christ to the very heart of our community.
He has been happily married to Anne Cook since 2006, and they, along with their two daughters, are proud residents of Wilmington, North Carolina. Their presence in our community is a testament to their commitment to living out the values of faith, love, and service that are central to Bishop Cook's ministry.
